A B2C-grade ordering experience, for a trade account
Most wholesale ordering still happens by text message, phone call and PDF order form, because the alternatives were built for procurement teams rather than for a chef at 5am. Carrot's storefront is built for the person actually placing the order: their own products, their own prices, on their phone, in under a minute.
Order guides, not catalogues
Every account gets its own curated list, grouped the way their kitchen is organised rather than the way your ERP is. A venue can keep several: one for the bar, one for the walk-in, one for the weekly dry goods run. Reordering is the default path, and it takes a few taps.
The full catalogue when they want it
Search, categories and filters across everything you carry, so customers discover the lines they did not know you stocked. Product pages carry images, pack sizes, unit pricing, spec sheets and allergen statements, which is where most of your inbound product questions come from.
Prices that are already theirs
No price list attachments, no 'call for pricing'. The storefront resolves each account's contract rates, price book and quantity breaks at the moment the cart is built, so the number on the screen is the number on the invoice.
Their own history, working for them
Previously ordered lines, reorder prompts, and a spend view that shows a venue where their money is going by category and by product. Customers who can see their own numbers place bigger, more considered orders.
