This is a plain-language summary and is still under review. Where you have a signed agreement with us, that agreement governs and takes precedence over anything on this page.

What this covers

This page is about usecarrots.com, the website you are reading. It is not about the Carrot platform itself: if you are a buyer using a distributor’s ordering portal, your relationship is with that distributor, and their privacy policy governs your data.

What we collect from this website

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, work email, business name, and whichever optional details you choose to give us about your role, category, account numbers, ERP and question.

The form also records how long the page was open before you submitted it, and includes a hidden field that only automated scripts fill in. Both exist to reject spam and neither is kept with your enquiry.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you and to prepare for that conversation. We do not sell it, we do not trade it, and we will not add you to a mailing list because you asked us a question.

Your enquiry is stored in our own systems, hosted in Australia, and is visible to the small team who would be responding to you.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored in your browser and never leaves it.

Getting your data removed

Email hello@usecarrots.com and ask. We will delete your enquiry and confirm that we have. You do not need to give a reason.
