Contract pricing that does not live in a spreadsheet
Distribution pricing is genuinely hard: a base list, a customer's price book, a negotiated contract line, a quantity break, and a promotion, all landing on the same product on the same day. Carrot resolves that chain in one place, so the price a customer sees, the price on the invoice, and the price your rep quotes are the same number.
Price books per account
Assign a price book to an account or a group of accounts. The price book also decides eligibility: what a customer can see and buy, not just what they pay for it.
Contract agreements
Negotiated rates on specific products for a specific customer, with start and end dates, so an annual agreement expires when it is supposed to rather than when somebody notices.
Quantity breaks
Buy-more-pay-less rules that fire at the moment the cart is priced, so a customer sees the better price as they reach the break rather than being surprised by it on the invoice.
Promotions that move stock
Campaign cards on the storefront, promo codes, and bonus offers that add a free line when conditions are met. Useful for surplus, short-dated stock, and supplier-funded activity.
